In the 16th century, sailors discovered the leaves of the West Indian bay tree, known as Pimenta racemosa. It is a small tree native to the West Indies, also known as St. Thomas Bay. When rubbed on the skin, its dry leaves released a highly fragrant oil - a great way to refresh and refresh yourself...
As Caribbean farmers shipped sugar to Europe, a few enterprising slaves on those same sugarcane plantations discovered that fermented molasses (a byproduct of sugar) could be turned into a sweetened alcoholic beverage. Brewers then adopted the original recipe, distilling it to boost the alcohol content, creating the famous rum. Later, an inventive sailor from the Virgin Islands came up with the idea of infusing the leaves and extracting their essential oils.
Laurus rum was born.
Islanders gradually added spices, citrus peels, cinnamon, and other additives to this cologne to tailor it to their tastes, and it soon found a place in pampering rituals as part of a massage or aftershave.
Created in the West Indies, this scent has enjoyed great success around the world. Initially fashionable in New York among American barbers and very popular among men, it was even introduced to the royal courts of Europe. Today, bay rum is still highly valued by the inhabitants of the Caribbean islands (from Bermuda to the Bahamas, from Barbados to the Virgin Islands).
Ligne St Barth aimed to preserve this beautiful Caribbean tradition while adding a modern touch and creating an authentic scent.
The top notes (lime, vetiver, West Indian bay leaves paired with aged Martinique rum) are preserved, with the addition of Guatemalan cardamom, the queen of spices. The base notes reveal notes of Caribbean guava, Havana tobacco and Atlantic cedar.
This fragrance composition was named "Islander".

RESERVATION
The fastest and most reliable way to enjoy the pleasures offered by the SPA center at the desired time is to make a reservation in advance by phone or e-mail. Then, even during the “hottest” time – in the evenings, on weekends or on holidays – you will be able to enjoy the pleasures of the SPA. When making a reservation in advance, leave your contact details with the administration so that they can contact you in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Respect
Our spa treatments are designed for relaxation and rest. We recommend turning off your mobile phones and enjoying yourself.
What to take?
You do not need to bring any personal items to the spa center for treatments - you will be offered towels, a bathrobe, a cap, disposable panties and slippers. If necessary, you can use the shower before or after the treatments.
Cancellation of reservation
If you are forced to cancel your reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, please do so as soon as possible so that we can give proper attention to the clients replacing you. The latest cancellation deadline is four hours before the scheduled procedure or visit to the SPA Palanga center. If you notify us later than 4 hours in advance or in case of no-show, a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total booking price will be charged to your account.
If you're late
We regret that your late arrival for the procedures causes great inconvenience to both the staff and other clients, so we kindly ask you to strictly adhere to the agreed schedule of procedures or visits to PALANGA LIFE BALANCE SPA. We recommend arriving for the procedures 10 minutes earlier. If you are late, we will not always be able to extend the procedure time.
Health status
To protect your health, inform the SPA center staff about any injuries, chronic illnesses, or allergic reactions you may have. If you feel unwell during the procedure, immediately notify the specialist serving you! Before certain procedures, you will be informed about the contraindications of the procedure.
Comfort
During the procedures, do not ignore your senses. Light, music, temperature and even communication with the specialist serving you have an impact on your overall well-being. We will always respond to your wishes. It is not necessary to maintain a conversation during the procedures, you can simply enjoy the silence.
If the specialist serving you advises you not to get up in a hurry after the procedure, you can relax for a few minutes and enjoy tea to fully restore your strength after the procedure.
Your comfort is important to us. These recommendations will ensure that your visits to the SPA center will be full of good impressions, pleasant memories and a desire to return again and again!

Typically, services are billed after the procedures, but they can also be paid for in advance.
